Born in 1837 in India, he was commissioned as an Ensign in the 2 Bombay European Regiment in 1855. He served in Persia and took part in the capture of Reshire and the battle at Kooshab. He also served during the Indian Mutiny and took part in the assault of Kolapore. He retired, as a Lieutenant Colonel, from the 106 Light Infantry in 1877. Francis Warden died in 1926.
